Usability Focused Interface
The Hospital Management System (HMS) is an enterprise-level medical platform designed to optimize hospital workflows. The system supports multiple roles such as Super Admin, HR, Receptionist, Doctors, Nurses, Emergency teams, and Accountants. The objective was to create a clean, functional UI aligned with real-world hospital operations, eliminating unnecessary modules and cognitive complexity.
The Challenge
Research & Discovery
✔ Removed irrelevant modules (Blood Bank, OT, etc.)
✔ Mapped real hospital workflows to UX flows
✔ Redesigned patient registration & billing to reduce steps
✔ Improved data tables with visibility and filtering
✔ Partnered with dev team to ensure feasibility
Outcome
The redesigned HMS delivered a unified, role-based system across all hospital departments.
By simplifying interfaces and optimizing workflows, task completion time was significantly reduced and system adoption improved.
After multiple stakeholder reviews, the client approved the entire UX direction, confirming that the redesign successfully resolved major operational and usability challenges.
